
As far as filmmaking collaborations go, it doesn’t get any better than Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg. That came true in 2011 when The Adventures of Tintin was released. While the film adaptation of the Herge comic of the same name may have been a hit with some of us, it didn’t perform in the U.S. as expected. However, internationally, it was a box office hit. A sequel would have Spielberg switching places with Jackson as director and producer.
And yet, this report isn’t really about the two coming together for The Adventures of Tintin 2. Nope. During an interview, Spielberg revealed that he was working with Jackson again on a new secret project before heading off to work on a Tintin sequel. More on the story below.
