Whatever the problems were that kept PlayStation 3 users from getting their hands on the DLC content released for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it’s clear that they weren’t minor. Months have passed since Xbox 360 users were able to get the game’s add-ons, and there was even a time when it appeared PS3 users might NEVER get to play.

But fear not, Sony fans. Bethesda Softworks has finally unraveled the tricky ball of issues that were causing the delay, and official release dates for the DLC on PS3 have been announced…along with a special offer as a thank you for your patience.

Another DLC add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been announced by Bethesda Softworks.

The add-on, titled Dragonborn, will be released on December 4th, and you’ll be able to pick it up for 1200 Microsoft points.

Not much is known about it yet, but as you can see in the trailer, it involves the first dragonborn. It also looks like those dragon mounts that were rumored recently are legit, but no word on the return to Morrowind yet.

Whispers and wishes of a return to Morrowind as part of DLC content for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been floating around, usually from the mouths of fans of the original Xbox game, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, who wanted to revisit the land with the updated graphics we have today.

Bethesda actually releasing DLC that allowed you to return to Morrowind, however, never seemed likely. But today comes a new rumor with a little bit of substance to it that seems to indicate that the dream is not so far-fetched.

A new downloadable add-on to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been announced by Bethesda Softworks titled Hearthfire.

Unlike the first DLC release, Dawnguard, Hearthfire isn’t about offering a brand new storyline to follow. Instead, it’s all about offering something unique and intriguing to experience in your game, keeping it fresh and fun almost a full year after the game itself was first released.
