| D23 Expo 2017: ‘The Incredibles 2’
The Incredibles 2 is easily the most anticipated film out of the Pixar lineup. While the studio has had no problems with releasing sequels and prequels, finding the right story to tell for a new Incredibles film hasn’t been easy. But it looks like director Brad Bird has cracked the story, and now fans will get to see what the Parr family, or should I say The Incredibles, have been up to for the last 13 years give or take. Oh, and let’s not forget Frozone. The presentation on Friday at this year’s D23 Expo first started out with a celebration of Enda Mode (Brad Bird) for all the great work she has done for superhero fashion. | ‘Toy Story 4’ Pushed Back To 2019; ‘The Incredibles 2’ Bumped Up To 2018
A lot of effort is put into perfecting a Pixar project. From the search to the story to the animation, it takes approximately four years for the studio to complete work on one title. Perhaps that is why they are recognized for being one of the top animation studios in the world. But as much as they thrive on their original storytelling, they’ve done well for themselves making sequels. Finding Dory proved that a Pixar sequel is sometimes well worth the wait, and somehow, we keep getting sequels for Cars. So when it was announced that there would be a Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2, Pixar fans got excited. Now comes word that they will be switching release dates. | Disney Shifts Release Dates For ‘The Incredibles 2,’ ‘Toy Story 4,’ ‘Cars 3,’ More
Disney has announced some pretty big scheduling news surrounding the release of their Marvel Studios and Pixar films, as well as their reimagined live-action adaptations. Following the confirmation that Ant-Man and The Wasp will be pushing back Black Panther and Captain Marvel, comes word that The Incredibles 2 and Cars 3 are now officially set for release, and Toy Story 4 is getting pushed back an entire year. The studio has also reserved four dates for their live-action adaptations of their animated films. Check out the all the release dates and the studio’s competition in the report below.

| ‘Tomorrowland’ Director Brad Bird Says ‘The Incredibles 2’ Is His Next Film
Brad Bird is one of a select few who has made the successful jump from directing animation features to live-action ones. The man who brought us animated films like The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille went on to direct Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. His next live-action film, Tomorrowland, hits theaters in just a few weeks, and now he is already talking about his next project. During the press junket for Tomorrowland, the Bird said that The Incredibles 2 is going to be his next project, and that the sequel is currently in the writing stages. He also confirmed that he was approached by Kathleen Kennedy about Star Wars.

| Brad Bird “Starting To Write” ‘The Incredibles 2’
Brad Bird is busy putting the final touches on Tomorrowland, and soon will have to do the press tour to help promote the film. But as soon as he is done with that, he will go to work on The Incredibles 2. The sequel was actually confirmed a year ago when Bob Iger made the announcement during an annual stockholder’s meeting. Of all the sequels and prequels in the Pixar library, fans are most excited for another Incredibles adventure. However, with Bird busy working on Tomorrowland at the time the sequel was first announced, work on The Incredibles 2 wasn’t even close to starting, which tells us that the film won’t hit theaters for a while.
