Warner Brothers Pictures has released a trailer for the Signature Edition of The Iron Giant, the re-release of director Brad Bird‘s animated feature returning to theaters late next month on September 30th and early the following month on October 4th.

We just saw Steven Spielberg’s all-time great thriller JAWS return to theaters for its 40th anniversary through Fathom Events, and now they’re set to bring The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and Tomorrowland director Brad Bird‘s animated classic The Iron Giant back to the big screen, complete with a pair of new scenes.

Fathom and Warner Brothers have set a remastered “Signature Edition” of the movie about a boy and a giant robot to re-release in theaters on September 30th, with an additional showing on October 4th. You can see the full details as well as a special new poster below.
