For this year’s “Treehouse of Horror,” the yearly Halloween episode of The Simpsons, the great Guillermo del Toro was brought in to create the opening sequence.

The result is nearly three minutes of pure awesome, jam-packed with horror references, including some from many of del Toro’s own work such as Pan’s Labyrinth, The Devil’s Backbone, Cronos, Hellboy, and Blade II.
