The U.S. Army is still after the geeks! Eleven years ago, the Army released a videogame titled America’s Army that was free to play and is still available. The game allowed players to partake in military style training and missions. Now, the U.S. Army has partnered with comic book publisher IDW Publishing to release a companion comic book series simply titled America’s Army Comics to all major digital platforms including the IDW app, Comics by Comixology for iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Nook, Windows 8 and the Web; Apple iBooks; Amazon Kindle; Barnes & Noble Nook; and Kobo.

The comics are meant to be companion pieces specifically to America’s Army 3 and the upcoming new videogame release America’s Army Proving Grounds scheduled for late 2013.
