| The GoD List: Comics For September 28, 2011Each and every week “King Cobra?” Henchman21 and “Diamond Dallas” MK2FAC3 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible… theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of September 28, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. There’s a lot of good stuff coming out this week like Ultimate Spider-Man #2, but neither of us picked that because it’s four dollars for 20 pages, and that’s ridiculous. We did, however, pick everything from All-Star Western to Rachel Rising, so if you’d like to see why we picked those and what else we picked, the you should continue to read this story. And that’s not a bad thing, it’s a good thing. BANG!

| 1870 Photograph On eBay Proves Nicolas Cage Is Immortal
A photograph was recently discovered being sold on eBay. The photo is of a Tennessee man, and it dates back to around the 1860s or 1870s. But the thing about this particular man, is that he looks an awful lot like a one Mr. Nicolas Cage. So much so that the seller is even using this in his description, claiming the Cage must be some sort of vampire. Now, some have taken the seller to be completely serious in his statements (especially with a Buy It Now price of $1,000,000 set), but as you can see in the Q&A section at the bottom of the page, he’s actually a pretty funny dude and, even though it sounds like a legit 19th century photograph, is likely just having some fun with it (unless, of course, someone actually pays up that kinda coin, in which case he would be a genius). You can see the image below and read the seller’s description by heading on below now.

| Must See: Real Vampire Hunting Kit From The Late 1800s
On October the 12th in the year 1890″”seven years before Bram Stoker’s classic, Dracula, arrived (the “vampire” itself has existed in folklore for centuries)””a man named Andrew A. Kauffman wrote a letter to a Mrs. Eberhardt, informing her that he had slain the vampire that had killed the woman’s daughter. The letter reads “I have dispatched the vampir that took your sweet daughters life. Included in this case are the tools used in the final act along with proof of its death. Mildredas life was too innocent to be taken by such a monster; she was dearly loved by me as we were newly betrothed. May she now rest in peace.” Though it’s obvious now that this man killed some kind of animal””most likely a dog or some kind of wolf””this proof of how different times once were is amazing to see. You can check out the pictures of the vampire killing kit, the letter, and even a photograph of dear Mildred below.

| Will Smith To Play Vampire In Re-Telling Of The Bible’s Cain & Abel Story
According to reports, mega-star Will Smith has latched on to a new project called The Legend of Cain. Smith is planning to not only produce the movie through his own Overbrook Entertainment, but also star in the title role of Cain. The star’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith, James Lassiter, and Ken Stovitz will also produce. The movie is said to be a re-telling of the biblical tale of the brothers Cain and Abel. In most versions of the story, the brothers are the sons of Adam and Eve; Cain is a farmer and Abel a shepherd with both making offerings to God based on their trades. When God accepts Abel’s sacrificial animal offerings but rejects Cain’s offerings of produce, the latter becomes enraged and kills his brother in cold blood bringing the deadly sin into the world.
