| Bytes: Live Free or Die Hard |
- Yipee-ki-yay! Bruce Willis will return to the DIE HARD franchise for a fourth time. Production begins next month on LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, which is scheduled to hit theaters in July 2007.
- The Rob Zombie-directed HALLOWEEN movie will be released October 19th, 2007. But Zombie will have to hurry — production begins this October.
- Wheelchair-bound physicist Stephen Hawking will introduce each episode of MASTERS OF SCIENCE FICTION. The ABC anthology series, from the producers of MASTERS OF HORROR, will be a six-show mid-season replacement.
- We’re in store for more adventures of Benjamin Franklin Gates. Nicolas Cage will reprise his role in a sequel to the surprise (surprise to us, anyway) hit NATIONAL TREASURE.
- A 13-part animated Spider-Man series will be the first offering from Sony Pictures’ new direct-to-DVD department next year.
- Talladega Nights stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly and director Adam McKay have another movie in the works — STEP BROTHERS is about two grown men who become step-brothers when their respective parents get hitched.
- We’ll have to suffer through (or willfully ignore) a Pink Panther sequel, with Steve Martin once again playing Inspector Clouseau.
- Eva Green, the new Bond girl, has landed the role of the queen of the witches in THE GOLDEN COMPASS, based on Philip Pullman�s fantasy trilogy HIS DARK MATERIALS.
- KYLE XY has been okayed for a second season on ABC Family.
- FOX is bringing us a new drama called AMY AFTER DARK, about a lawyer/vampire.
