Coen Brothers Offer Up Two New Movies
Brothers Joel and Ethan Coen will write, produce, and direct the following projects in their new pact with Focus Features and Working Title:
- Serious Man — A dark comedy in the vein of the Coen Brothers’ Fargo.
- Burn After Reading — Brad Pitt will star as a trainer at a gym. George Clooney and Frances McDormand will also star in the film, which begins shooting this summer.
The Coen Brothers are best known for Fargo, The Big Lebowski, and O Brother, Where Art Thou?
‘Bridge to Terabithia’ Director to Do ‘The Moon Princess’
Gabor Csupo (Bridge to Terabithia) will direct the live-action family fantasy flick The Moon Princess.
Based on the children’s book The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge, the movie will tell the story of a 13-year-old girl’s adventure into a magical world from which she must banish an ancient curse.
Colin Firth is set to star as the girl’s eccentric uncle. Lucy Shuttleworth and Graham Alborough scripted the adaptation.

Crispin Glover will play the lead role as a vengeful ice cream vendor in the indie horror The I Scream Man. Tom Sizemore, Judd Nelson , and Haylie Duff will also star; horror master George A. Romero will have a cameo.
