Empress Eve   |  @   |

Kill BillUma Thurman gave MTV an update on the two new anime films planned as companion pieces to Quentin Tarantino‘s two Kill Bill movies.

Two years ago, Tarantino announced his intention to make the Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 companion films, one of which would be the origin of The Bride, the other dealing with Bill.

Thurman said that she never recorded a voiceover for The Bride project and that the current project doesn’t focus on her character from Kill Bill, but on another character. She did not reveal which one, so it could be about Bill.

Tarantino is currently working on putting the two Kill Bill movies together into an expanded DVD, said Thurman She added that there will be an intermission between each volume which will contain additional anime stories in it and that Tarantino has already written an anime sequence for it.
