Just a few days ago, it was reported that in H2, Rob Zombie‘s upcoming sequel to his Halloween reboot, serial killer Michael Myers would spend about 70 percent of the film without a mask (see Wait, What? Michael Myers To Be Without Mask For Most Of “˜H2″²?).

Now, the director has posted on his MySpace blog the first official look at Tyler Mane as Michael Myers wearing the iconic William Shatner mask that the killer is best known for from the original Halloween franchise. (See image at right, click for larger full view.)

Apparently, the well-known mask is only one of many that Michael Myers will don in H2. While there will be many different versions of the mask, none of them will be an exact replica of the one from the first film, according to H2 make-up artist Wayne Toth.
