Is Tommy Doyle Returning To The ‘Halloween’ Franchise? Rumor Is That Paul Rudd Was Approached For Role

While the holiday is celebrated in mid Fall, the summer has been hot with Halloween movie news. We learned earlier this month that “The saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode will continue” with two sequels to David Gordon Green’s hugely successful 2018 Halloween. Halloween Kills is set to hit theaters in 2020 and be followed by 2021’s Halloween Ends. Jamie Lee Curtis is set to return as Laurie Strode in both films. Universal Announces Release Dates For Next 2 ‘Halloween’ Films Starring Jamie Lee Curtis

Studios don’t need to be in Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con to make big news. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple announcement. Take Universal Pictures, for example. ‘Halloween’ Sequel Hires ‘Firestarter’ Scribe To Pen Script

Raking in $253.7 million at the box office last year, there was no doubt that a sequel was in order. Now that one has been confirmed, the creative pieces are being put together.
New reports confirm that Firestarter writer Scott Teems has been hired to pen the script for the upcoming Halloween sequel. More on the report below.
