| Peyton Reed Returns To Direct ‘Ant-Man 3’ For Marvel Studios
There are few Marvel Cinematic Universe film franchises that don’t have a trilogy. Spider-Man nearly didn’t get one, and we all know why, but thankfully that was avoided. One Marvel title that hasn’t gotten three standalone films yet is the one that is often overlooked: Ant-Man. That all changed this past weekend as Peyton Reed, who directed Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2017), signed on to direct the third installment of the film franchise for Marvel Studios. More on the report below.

| ‘Between Two Ferns’ Trailer: Zach Galifianakis’s Low Budget Funny Or Die Bit Won’t Be In Theaters
Zach Galifianakis‘s Between Two Ferns is his hilarious take on celebrity talk shows that take place on public access television. He’s had stars like Brad Pitt, President Barack Obama, Natalie Portman, Bradley Cooper, Will Ferrell, and Hillary Clinton on his show. Now it’s time for one of Funny or Die’s funniest bits to go from short video format to a Netflix film. And rather than make that bit with a cinematic feel, there will be an actual narrative woven into it. The stakes are high after one of the celebrities Galifianakis is interviewing is accidentally killed, forcing executives to axe the show. That is, unless, he can produce ten successful episodes before the deadline. Forced to go on the road, the interviewer will do what it takes to save it and restore his reputation. Netflix has released an official trailer for the film, which you can check out below.

Release Date: Aug 13, 2019 Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame marks the end of an 11-year long-form story arc and the continuation of a great comic book movie legacy. These films hold great meaning to those who have been with the franchise since 2008. So to see it all come to a fitting conclusion was a bit sad. That being said, we all know things are never meant to last forever and directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo were able to give Marvel fans the perfect capper by giving these characters we all know and love a satisfying send-off. Now with Avengers: Endgame on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital we can keep those memories alive and watch how it all evolved starting with a billionaire playboy philanthropist. Check out my review below.

| Is Tommy Doyle Returning To The ‘Halloween’ Franchise? Rumor Is That Paul Rudd Was Approached For Role
While the holiday is celebrated in mid Fall, the summer has been hot with Halloween movie news. We learned earlier this month that “The saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode will continue” with two sequels to David Gordon Green’s hugely successful 2018 Halloween. Halloween Kills is set to hit theaters in 2020 and be followed by 2021’s Halloween Ends. Jamie Lee Curtis is set to return as Laurie Strode in both films. Now rumors are circulating that another character from John Carpenter’s original 1978 classic could be returning to the series: Tommy Doyle.

| SDCC 2019: ‘What If’ Marvel Studios Brought Back Your Favorite Heroes and Villains For A New Series
Marvel Studios’ What If…?, which was announced back in March, is a brand new upcoming TV series that will be streamed exclusively on Disney+. The series will expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe in all sorts of new ways by posing the question of “what if?” This really isn’t anything new considering that Marvel Comics has an entire comic line dedicated to hypothetical and alternative stories, like “what if Thanos had joined the Avengers?” or “what if Captain America joined hydra?” And now we have an idea of who will be involved. While at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared some news about the show, which includes announcing that Jeffery Wright will be voicing The Watcher, and various actors and actresses who have appeared in Marvel films who will be reprising their respective roles. More on all of this below.
