From today, May 11, until May 30 the Pizza Hut Terminator Salvation website will have a five-minute video up which is mostly footage mixed with a little behind the scenes action.
The video, which you can watch here below, begins with the footage, which is basically a look at the scene with Marcus (Sam Worthington) and Kyle (Anton Yelchin) at that run down gas station with the massive Harvester. It’s a pretty intense scene, and certainly worth a peek. After the footage, there’s a mini behind the scenes feature which shows you what went into making the actual scene and how much work director McG put into making as much of it real, physical, and non-CGI as he possibly could. That effort to make the movie old-school is one of the high selling-points here, and it’s a good sign for the finished product and for McG’s dedication.
Along with the five minutes of footage, you can also register to win yourself some sweet prizes. The top prize is a life-sized replica of a T-600! Also up for grabs are Terminator XBOX 360 consoles, Terminator Salvation games, action figures, and other fun stuff.
Terminator Salvation stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common, and includes appearances from Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The movie will finally make its debut on May 21, 2009.
