[UPDATE: Download the book today for free HERE.]
Author of Shatnerquake — the novel featuring James T. Kirk, TJ Hooker, Denny Crane, Rescue 911 Shatner, Vocalist Shatner, Shakespearean Shatner, Twilight Zone Shatner, Cartoon Kirk, Esperanto Shatner, Priceline Shatner, SNL Shatner, and the man himself William Shatner — is offering the book as a free download today only.
The 100-page story by Jeff Burk chronicles the battle that takes place at the first Shatner-Con between an army of rabid Bruce Campbell fans and the combined might of every character ever portrayed by Shatner.
Geeks of Doom first mentioned this soon to be classic work of fiction just before the premier of the new Star Trek film. [Read: Ode To An Absent Space Captain – 6 Reasons Why Bill Shatner Is The Greatest Performer of All Time]
This freebie may actually take away some of the Shatner-longing that will no doubt occur when watching the new Star Trek reboot by JJ Abrams, which makes its debut on Blu-ray and DVD today.
Followed the link to the ‘Shatnerquake’ Amazon page, but I don’t see where the book is available to download for free. Am I missing something?

I did not see a free Amazon download available, but if you read the author’s blog (http://jeffburk.wordpress.com/2009/11/16/download-shatnerquake-for-free-today-only/) he links to two file distribution sites that are hosting the free download of the PDF.

@RussC
The newsletter is automatically generated and sent out every day at around 9am ET. This story was posted at 12:21pm, so there’s no way it could have been in that day’s newsletter. That’s why it was in the one the next day. There’s nothing we can do about that.
