If you’re like me, when Disney’s acquisition of Marvel was announced, the first thing you thought about was the Marvel attraction at Universal Studios Florida (Islands Of Adventure) and how the characters wouldn’t be able to appear at both the Disney and Universal parks simultaneously.
Well have no fear true believers, it looks like all your favorite Marvel characters will be at your favorite Disney parks around the world in the very near future.
Deadline reported that Marvel and Universal severed ties on the West Coast, which could potentially allow Marvel’s characters to appear in Disneyland without disrupting Universal’s Marvel theme park in Florida.
Disney President and CEO Bob Iger told The Los Angeles Times:
“We’re just now considering all of our different options, so it would be premature to say when or where in the parks you would see Marvel characters. But I think it’s safe to say that you’re going to see some of those great Marvel characters walking around in the future.”
Marvel merchandise has already appeared in Disneyland shops, so I’m sure I’ll be hanging out with Spider-Man soon.

Only in CA so far, too bad, I’m always at WDW in Florida. I’m sure things will eventually catch up there, although, the Spiderman Ride at Universal is fabulous (even if I hate them as a theme park).
