It’s been announced that Discovery Channel’s popular proven-by-science show, Mythbusters, will have itself an interesting special guest during an upcoming episode: President Barack Obama.
The White House has revealed that Obama has already filmed the segment, and that the episode he’s set to appear on will air on December 8, 2010. The President is taking part with the show in an effort to better promote math and science education in the United States.
And what will be up for busting on this special episode of Mythbusters? An old foe, of course. On two separate occasions, the team has attempted to prove whether or not Archimedes, a Greek scientist, was able to set fire to the ships of an Roman fleet that was attacking just by using a collection of mirrors and the sun’s rays. Twice now this is something that has been busted, but the show has laid down the challenge to anyone to prove otherwise. Perhaps someone has done just that and this will be their stage to show how.
Education has become more and more of an issue lately and this is likely Obama stepping onto a popular show to express the need to better our education programs, especially with the release of the new documentary Waiting for Superman (Read Our Review), which has effectively proven that Americans are becoming more and more stupid with each new year.

Why not? This guy has been on TV everywhere else.
Coming this December… CSI Miami has Horatio joining forces with Barack to help put a “veto” on the murder spree that’s hitting the beaches. To the Leader of the Free World, this crime is… an Obama-nation!
YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
