Earlier this month, we wrote about some really cool Star Wars-themed paper snowflakes, for which the creator was nice enough to include instructions and templates.
After seeing those snowflake designs — one for Darth Vader, the other a Boba Fett/Clone Troopers combo — someone else came up with the idea to make other Star Wars-themed paper snowflakes, this time for a Tie Advanced x1 Starfighter and an X-Wing Starfighter. Check out the image at right (click for larger, full view) of several paper snowflakes that were created. | Trailer For Steven Spielberg-Produced Sci-Fi TV Series ‘Falling Skies’ Released
The first trailer for the new TNT alien invasion TV series, Falling Skies, has been released online. The show is executive produced by none other than Steven Spielberg, and tells the story of human survivors banding together after a devastating alien attack on our planet. Nothing is the same or ever will be again, but these survivors need to find a way to work together and learn the weaknesses of the invading species so that they may fight back and rebuild civilization. The show certainly looks like it could be a hybrid of Skyline and Spielberg’s War of the Worlds remake, but fans of sci-fi may be interested in giving it a try when Falling Skies arrives in June of 2011. You can read a lengthy synopsis and see the trailer for yourself by clicking over now, and you can also read a companion web comic by heading over to TNT’s website.
