The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel today is the ultimate superhero mash-up “The Amazing Invincible Captain Wolvclopisher Man.”
The tee, by artist D4N13L, went on sale at RIPT today, Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.
The design takes some of our favorite superheros and makes them into one super-ultimate superhero! Let’s see if I got them all: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain American, Wolverine, Cyclops, and The Punisher.
The t-shirt is available in men’s and women’s sizes in blue for $10 each. Kids sizes are $15 (Boys & Toddler in blue; Girls in Navy ); Onesies are $18 (in light blue). You can also get the design on a Hoodie for $38 (in blue in Men/Unisex sizes).
The artist had plenty to say about this design:
I actually see a lot of myself in this character, with the exception of the adamantium blades and the super high power laser beam bursting out of my oneeyed head and the spider webs shooting or wall climbing and super human strength or the ability of weilding and mastering any kind of firearms and kick every mob guy or even mob related individual’s behind nor I posses (or ever going to, for that matter) an indestructible shield nor have I invented and use a gold-titatium alloy body armor. Besides not being mutant, or genetically enhanced nor bitten by super spiders nor having witnessed my family’s death by the mob nor being a multibillonaire genious, I know this fella and I share some qualities such as”¦ uhm, wait, what?
“¨”¨Ok, this is one is a confused and messed up super hero and that’s all there is to it, enjoy it!
Very cool! I dig it when the artist has something to say about their design, and this one is quite the mash-up! You can see more of D4N13L’s designs at his Red Bubble page.
So, what do you think of The Amazing Invincible Captain Wolvclopisher Man?
Kind of reminds me of teh Ad in older Marvel Comics for Combos. I think they called hi Comboman or something.
