The MP3 album deal of the day over at Amazon today is the Billy Idol compilation Best Of Billy Idol: Idolize Yourself for only $3.99.

Best Of Billy Idol: Idolize Yourself contains 19 songs and includes all of Billy Idol’s biggest hits, as well as two new tunes (well, new to 2008 when this was originally released). The album is also available on CD for $9.59 and as a deluxe CD/DVD for $16.76.

Math time: Typically, MP3 songs sell for $.99 each, which means in order for the $3.99 sale to be worth it for the buyer, there has to be at least four songs on the album worth having. Since this is a greatest hits compilation, there’s much more than four goodies on here, but here’s the stuff you know and love: “Dancing With Myself,” “White Wedding,” “Rebel Yell,” “Eyes Without A Face.”

And there you have it, lots of Billy Idol goodness for a very low price. The deal is valid for today, June 24, 2011, but as is the case with most MP3 album deals, the sale will probably extend at least through tomorrow, if not through the weekend.
