Yeah, well, that wasn’t what we expected.

The first trailer for the upcoming film, Snow White And The Huntsman has been released, and it shockingly looks kind of amazing. Watch the teaser trailer here below.

The film is obviously based on the tale of Snow White, but is very much a revisionist take on the narrative, finding our heroine being hunted down by a woodsman, who ultimately teams up with the titular beauty to take down her evil stepmother.

The film is going up against a similar project being backed by director Tarsem, entitled Mirror Mirror, but very much looks darker and quite intriguing.

Now, while the cast is a bit odd, I do love the idea of Kristen Stewart taking on a bit of a brooding role here, and Charlize Theron looks fun as the evil stepmother. Hopes are really high for the film, as this trailer shockingly looks quite solid. And hey, no one looks better swinging around an axe than Thor himself, am I right?
