SYNOPSIS:
Get ready to snap your fingers! The Addams Family is back on the big screen in the first animated comedy about the kookiest family on the block. Funny, outlandish, and completely iconic, the Addams Family redefines what it means to be a good neighbor.
The movie is directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, who previously worked together co-directing 2016’s Sausage Party.
Vernon’s other previous credits include co-directing Shrek 2, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. He’s also done a lot of voice acting, including Gingerbread Man in the Shrek series and Mason in the Madagascar series.
Tiernan co-directed the original classic video game God of War in 2005, and has helmed a ton of different Thomas the Tank Engine titles. He also worked in the animation department on An American Tail, The Land Before Time, and All Dogs Go to Heaven among others.
The screenplay was written by Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride, Monster House, 9) and Matt Lieberman (The Christmas Chronicles and the upcoming Scooby-Doo animated feature Scoob).
The Addams Family is set to be released in theaters this Halloween season on October 11th.
