Featuring the voice talents of Oscar Isaac and Charlize Theron as the family’s parental figures Gomez and Morticia. MGM has released a teaser trailer for The Addams Family, an animated take on the strange and unusual family originally created by cartoonist Charles Addams in the 1930s. | ‘The Toxic Avenger’ Remake Grabs ‘Sausage Party’ Co-Director Conrad Vernon
We’ve been hearing about a remake of the 1984 cult classic The Toxic Avenger for a number of years now. But while the project has had troubles getting into production, it is still in the works. And now comes word that a new director has been hired to make the movie. It’s being reported that Conrad Vernon has signed on to helm the remake, his first live-action gig. Vernon recently co-directed the R-rated animated comedy Sausage Party starring and co-written by Seth Rogen. Before that he directed the not at all R-rated animated features Shrek 2, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. Vernon has also done a bunch of voice acting, including multiple roles in Sausage Party, Mason in the Madagascar movies and shorts, and most notably, Gingerbread Man in the Shrek movies and shorts.

Release Date: August 12, 2016 Sausage Party is advertised as a raunchy rated-R animated comedy. If that is what draws you to the theater, you will not be disappointed. Sausage Party contains some of crudest and most vulgar humor since… well, ever. Deadpool, which came out earlier this year, prided itself on being a rated-R superhero movie, and while there was sex, graphic violence, and language that would get you kicked out of church, it pales in comparison to the literal non-stop 90-minutes of lunacy that is Sausage Party. | Seth Rogen Pranks Grocery Store Shoppers With Talking Food For ‘Sausage Party’ (Video)
The R-rated animated movie Sausage Party, which follows food discovering the horrifying truth about what happens when they get purchased by someone, is out in theaters today. To help promote the movie to those who aren’t already sold and planning to see it, star Seth Rogen took part in a prank at a grocery store. The prank involves a few strategically placed animatronic food items which come to life when shoppers are near, and Rogen speaking as the food from a back room to teach said shoppers about how evil it is to eat melons and other food items. You can see how the shoppers reacted to the surprise of food talking to them at the grocery store in the video below.
