| ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Being Developed For Disney+
Not too long ago, it was reported that Disney was interested in rebooting their witchy cult classic Hocus Pocus without the original cast. While the news that the film would be coming back was great for fans, it was upsetting to know that the original cast would not be back. However, that has now been dispelled. At least somewhat. There are new reports that say Disney is developing Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney+, their exclusively streaming service. Additionally, they are trying to bring back the original witch trio played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. More on the report below.

| ‘The Politician’ Trailer: Ryan Murphy Plays High School Politics The Only Way He Knows How
Politics can be a mean game no matter how big or small the arena. Take Netflix’s The Politician from Ryan Murphy, who dramatizes the lengths of which a very ambitious high school student (Ben Platt) goes through to run a perfect campaign to become president of the Associated Student Body. Of course, since this is a project from the man who has given us Glee, American Horror Story, and so much more, much of what we will see from the dark comedy will take place in a heightened sense of reality. However, because we know how ruthless politics can be, there is a certain degree of believability. Check out the trailer here below.

Run Time: 96 minutes
Rated PG
Release Date: September 4, 2018 It is the 25th anniversary of this cult favorite and to celebrate, there is a spanking brand new Blu-ray for sale everywhere. Just for fans, you can watch the We Love Hocus Pocus Trivia and Treats Edition of Hocus Pocus, which plays the movie “with fun facts, trivia, concept art, storyboards, behind-the-scenes magic, and more!” In 1993, Hocus Pocus was written off by critics as a silly Halloween-themed kids movie. While it grossed $39.5 million, it barely cracked the top 40 box office for the year, under such “classics” as The Beverly Hillbillies and Dennis the Menace. However, as often is the case with movies aimed at children, the kids grow up and with them come large pairs of nostalgia goggles that, in this case, have turned Disney’s witch comedy into a cult classic, especially for those now in their mid-30s. Capitalizing on this nostalgia and the fact that most of these 30-somethings have children of their own now, Disney released a new Anniversary Edition of the film on Blu-ray and digital right in time for its 25th birthday and Halloween season. More below on Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Edition.
