When it comes to writers, no one makes a film more intriguing than one Paul Schrader.

Variety is reporting that the writer has found a lead for his next project, a film entitled Recall, as Clive Owen has become attached to the project. Currently being set up by Moonstone Entertainment, the film has already been sold to Latin America and South Korean territories.

Harold Becker is set to helm the film, which follows an NSA agent who is attempting to find out what went wrong during a failed hostage rescue. Personally, as a huge fan of Schrader, this sounds like a really intriguing project, and while I’m not hugely familiar with the director involved here, my hopes are insanely high. Owen is a fantastic thespian, and one that should do really well within this type of picture. Not much else is really known about the flick, but what’s there to know? Clive Owen starring in a film penned by Paul Schrader? I’m in.
