Hey, everybody loves Ash, right? And everybody loves the Evil Dead movies, right? So, you should love Army of Darkness #1, right? Right!

Elliot Serrano takes a VERY different approach to this franchise, and I applaud him for that. He could have just gone with another run of the mill Ash vs. Deadites tale, but no, he made this issue fresh, different, and exciting. There’s just one problem. I have no idea what’s going on. At. All. I’ll be honest, I haven’t kept up with the Army of Darkness miniseries that Dynamite has published lately, and maybe I should have. Don’t get me wrong, you’re not going to be completely lost, you get the gist of what’s going on, but it just feels a little like you’re missing something.

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming adaptation of author Seth Grahame-Smith‘s alternate history/horror work Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has arrived online.

The movie stars Benjamin Walker as our 16th president, but shows us his much lesser-known side, moonlighting as a hunter and killer of vampires after his dear mother was killed by a creature of the night.

But it’s not just Tuesday, no sir or ma’am! It’s more than Tuesday! While it is in fact true that it’s Tuesday, it’s also Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day can mean a variety of things depending on the person. The folks over at Topps sent over this delightful Mars Attacks Valentine’s Day message. So, this Valentine’s Day, why not give an alien your heart…literally.

Topps announced last month that they’d be releasing a Mars Attacks commemorative trading card set this July to coincide with the company’s 50th anniversary. The set will contain reprints of the original 55 cards from 1962, as well as 25 never-before-seen subjects.
