So many wild and wacky ideas, we humans like to come up with. For example: what would you say if I told you I wanted to make a coffee table designed like the classic Nintendo video game console’s controller…and that I wanted to still be able to play Super Mario Bros. on it?

That, of course, is nothing that I would ever say, because in the RPG that is this life, I have not taken the time to allocate my inherited points into useful skills such as woodworking and electronics and art. Instead, all of my skill points have gone into stubbornness, cynicism, and an unparalleled ability to eat food really well.

Thankfully someone who’s much more skilled than me made that very same proposition to someone somewhere out there beneath the pale moon light at some point, and the result is exactly as was planned: a fully-functional Nintendo controller coffee table!
