The Baytown Disco follows the story of three Southern brothers whose life of crime leads them to a job where they have to play as the good guys. But before you can peg this as some sort of awful direct to DVD flick, take a look at the very awesome trailer here below. It will convince you that The Baytown Disco is the kind of popcorn slam-bang actioner that we’ve been waiting for.
The trailer is filled with eye-popping action, animated title explosions, plenty of foul-mouthed characters, and stripper assassins. Yep stripper assassins. Did I mention that the film stars Billy Bob Thornton as a ruthless mobster and Eva Longoria as a godmother requesting that the brothers bring back her godson from her ex-husband.
William O. Perkins optioned the script through his Leju Productions banner and financed and produced alongside Robert Teitel of State Street Pictures. Barry Battles directed the Black List script he co-wrote with Griffin Hood. The Baytown Disco is currently being shopped around to potential buyers. Hopefully there is someone out there that sees that The Baytown Disco is the kind of action flick that everyone can enjoy.

Action wise it reminds me of Drive Angry which kicked ass by the way.
