In a strange bit of casting news, it’s being reported that none other than Mel Gibson has entered into “serious discussions” for a role in the upcoming sequel to 2010’s Machete, which will be titled Machete Kills.
Nothing is know about who Gibson might play, only that it would a supporting role.
The original movie had a slew of stars led by Danny Trejo as an ex-Federale with an affinity for blades who’s betrayed by the man who hired him to assassinate a senator, leading him on a bloody path to revenge. Trejo returns for the sequel, where he’ll be brought in by the United States government to track an arms dealer through Mexico before he shoots off a weapon into space.
Director Robert Rodriguez also returns to direct the sequel.

I was going to see this, but not anymore. Fuck Mel Gibson, he’s a racist, Jew-hating, woman-abusing Jesus freak drunkard psychopath whose career(and life)needs to end immediately!!!! Mel doesn’t deserve a comeback, he deserves to fucked in the ass with a REAL machete!!!!!!
