The Daily Show with Jon Stewart will be schlepping the entire badass show all the way to Tampa, Florida to broadcast a week of shows during the Republican National Convention next week.

Titled RNC 2012: The Road to Jeb Bush 2016, the shows will air each night at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT from Tuesday, August 28 through Friday, August 31 on Comedy Central.

The convention episodes will be taped at the Straz Center in Tampa and will feature news, analysis, and guest interviews from host Jon Stewart, with additional reporting from the convention floor at the Tampa Bay Times Forum by “The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever” including Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Al Madrigal, Assif Mandvi, John Oliver, and Jessica Williams.

RNC 2012: The Road to Jeb Bush 2016 will also present a Mitt Romney biographical film and Tampa native Mandvi will give viewers a look at his hometown.

The Daily Show received both an Emmy Award and a George Foster Peabody Award for its year-long coverage of the 2000 presidential election.
