If you would like a physical copy of Vs. , the CD is available for only $6.99.
Vs. was Pearl Jam’s second studio album, recorded in 1993 at the luxurious The Site in Nicasio, California. Pressured to top – or at least parallel – the success of their debut album, Ten, the band at first thought the paradise-like setting of The Site would allow them to relax and let their creative juices flow. However, it had the opposite effect on singer Eddie Vedder, who was unnerved by all that comfort – so much so, that he actually drove to San Francisco and slept in his truck for a week. Hey, whatever makes the music happen, right? The result was this gem of an album, which includes the now-classic radio hits “Daughter,” “Dissident,” and “Elderly Woman Behind The Counter in a Small Town,” as well as the heavier hitting “Animal” and “Blood.”
