Hugh Jackman has gone through some serious workouts to turn his body into everyone’s favorite lonesome mutant Wolverine. Now we are getting a first look at the results of those workout sessions. 20th Century Fox, via Ryan Penagos’ Twitter, has revealed the first image of a seriously ripped Jackman as Wolverine in James Mangold’s The Wolverine.

The first image isn’t spoilery at all, it’s more like something to accompany the announcement that The Wolverine is coming to theaters on July 26, 2013. The film will take place after the events of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where Logan finds himself in Tokyo, Japan trying to recall his lost memories. There he falls in love with a local woman and fights against the Yakuaza and a mutant Samurai.

Hopefully this means we will be seeing the first trailer for the film soon. So what do you guys think of the new image?
