Back in January we found out that A&E was developing a new TV series inspired by the classic Alfred Hitchcock thriller Psycho.

Now nearly a year later, the series, which is titled Bates Motel, has a trailer and preview to check out. The video is a hybrid, beginning with the trailer and then going into a short making of preview, complete with interviews with the show’s cast and crew.

The show stars Freddie Highmore (Finding Neverland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) as young Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga (The Departed, Up in the Air) as his mother Norma, along with many others.
