The holiday season usually brings cheer and glee to family and friends, but if you are planning to see a new movie on that day, then you will probably be slapped with some sad stories. That’s because both Les Miserables and Django Unchained open on that day, and both films have rather depressing stories.
So the team at Funny or Die brought Anne Hathaway and Samuel L. Jackson, actors who starred in the two films, to a competition to prove which film is more sad. Check it out below.
Both bring up very good points in the most hilarious of ways. It is Funny or Die after all. But I find it hard to argue against slavery, but it’s also hard to argue against some of the points that Hathaway brought about Les Miserables. But if I had to choose, Jackson would be the winner. But is there really a winner when it comes to a Sad Off? Thankfully Jackson and Hathaway knows how to make something depressing a bit more humorous.
