We’ve already heard about previous actors in the Star Wars franchise who were open to returning for Star Wars Episode VII if their characters were needed.
A lot has happened since then, including Fisher saying she is going to be in the movie, and now comes word of another returning star.
According to El Mayimbe over at Latino Review, Harrison Ford will indeed be coming back to play Han Solo in Episode VII.
No details are known yet about how big or small Ford’s part will be in the movie. Considering that J.J. Abrams is now directing the movie, it could be a smaller role along the same lines as Leonard Nimoy in Abrams’ Star Trek. Or, perhaps it will be a little bit more substantial than that. Only time will tell.
What do you think of Harrison Ford returning as Han?
…as a vetted character from the original series who ushers the audience into the beginnings of a new timeline as he races back into the past to save his world from being destroyed by a rogue Vulcan… I bet.

Ma and Pa Solo have sent their kids off to the brimming Jedi Academy run by Uncle Luke. Something happens and adventure ensues.
