Netflix has effectively changed “TV” by reviving cancelled series like Arrested Development and producing their own completely original series like House of Cards and Hemlock Grove, and then throwing entire seasons of these shows directly onto their streaming service instead of adding one episdoe at a time.
A second season of House of Cards is already on the way, and now Netflix has announced that they have ordered a season two for Hemlock Grove as well.
The horror show is based on the Brian McGreevy novel of the same name, which follows intertwining stories in a small fictional Pennsylvania town. The show involves werewolves and other fiction beings as well.
Hemlock Grove didn’t score the highest critical praise, but was watched by a significant amount of young adults who were craving more of that True Blood type Gothic horror show, which led to the decision to give the show another season.

I watched the first couple of episodes and wasn’t real impressed. I might give it another go at some point but we’ll see. I loved House of Cards though!

This makes my day, I enjoyed Hemlock Grove so much, I got depressed when it was over. Thanks NETFLIX……….you got it right!

This show seriously puts all other were wolf type shows to shame . It’s amazing and so excited for a second season
