Robert Downey Jr. is about as popular as actors can get right now. The man can do little wrong. But just in case you didn’t think the star of Marvel’s Iron Man franchise was popular enough, just look at what his employees did for him.
Yes, the man who was paid $50 million for his work in The Avengers has employees that like him so much they got him a very cool gift. It’s being said that Downey Jr.’s team chipped in to get the actor a one-of-a-kind six-foot-tall remote controlled flying Iron Man.
You can see a video of this very cool toy in action below.
The folks over at RCSuperhero.com were tasked with building the gift. It’s actually very similar to those flying people we saw used as viral marketing for Chroniclea while back, but instead it’s Iron Man and has cool lights and such. And, according to the video below, RDJ liked it so much he even gave RCSuperhero a call.
At the moment, this is the only life-sized version of Iron Man in existence. The company does sell a 19-inch version you can go and pick up right now.
