In honor of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, Google has created an interactive Google Doodle based on the series — a Whodle! — and launched it today on their home pages around the world.

The doodle serves as an interactive game where you play as each of the eleven doctors in a race against time against a Dalek.

Yesterday, a Doctor Who 50th Anniversary TARDIS Cake was delivered to BBC America’s New York office. The cake, which was created by New Jersey’s Pink Cake Box, featured the Eleventh Doctor standing outside a beautiful, edible TARDIS.

But the Doctor Who-themed cake wasn’t yesterday’s only arrival. The actual TARDIS also landed at the BBC America office! Check out the photo here below of the TARDIS, which arrived straight from the television show’s set.

Based on a true story, Dallas Buyers Club is directed by Jean-Marc Vallée (The Young Victoria) and stars Matthew McConaughey (Mud) as Ron Woodroof, a homophobic Texan roughneck with an insatiable appetite for prostitutes and hardcore drugs.

Dallas, 1986. Ron Woodroof is diagnosed with HIV and is given 30 days to live. He begins taking AZT, the only AIDs drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the U.S.

The experimental drug does more harm than good, nearly killing Woodroof before he gives up on it altogether. After doing some research on other AIDS medications available outside the U.S., Woodroof travels across the world and smuggles the unapproved anti-viral medications into Texas.

The $11 t-shirt deal of the day over at TeeFury today is called “You Win or You Die” by kanoby and is inspired by Game Of Thrones.

The sale began at Teefury today, Friday, November 22, 2013, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site for $11 anymore, though it will continue into the next day for $14 (look for the After Hours bar at the top).

In celebration of the highly anticipated upcoming special, BBC America had a TARDIS/Eleventh Doctor-themed cake commissioned by New Jersey specialty cake shop Pink Cake Box.
