It’s really hard to get a comic book fan’s attention when Guardians of the Galaxy keeps jumping up and down while flailing its arms. And rightfully so, the trailer was a smashing success. But there are a few other comic book movies that have yet to be released that have a much bigger fan base and an already established franchise, such as X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which has had only one trailer so far.
But with the May 23, 2014 release date just months away, we can expect to see a new one soon. Until then Fox has released four new movie stills as well as a slew of character images to help promote the film. Check them out in the photo gallery here below.
After the assault that was the Empire covers revealing the five million main characters of X-Men: Days Of Future Past against action backdrops, it’s surprising that now we’re getting such mediocre and at time just plan bad-looking character images now.
As the new movie stills go, there’s not much to see, although I am interested to know how Professor X (James McAvoy) gains the ability to walk again. That being said, who is Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) pointing her gun at? Is Hank aka Beast (Nicholas Hoult) really human again? And why is Magneto (Michael Fassbender) menacing a political rally? Guess we’ll find out soon.

Directed Bryan Singer, X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and many (many) more.
The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two-time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.
