On last night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, host Jimmy Fallon and the show’s house band The Roots got together for another one of their “Classroom Instruments” performances. This time around, they were joined by Tony Award-winning performer Idina Menzel, or as the whole world knows her now thanks to John Travolta — Adele Dazeem.
For this installment of Classroom Instruments, the gang did a special rendition of “Let It Go,” from Disney’s Frozen, which Menzel sings in the film.
Check out the performance from The Tonight Show here below.
At Sunday’s Academy Award ceremony, Frozen took home the Oscar for Best Animated Film, while “Let It Go” won for Best Song. Menzel performed the tradition version of the song at the awards ceremony, where she was introduced by John Travolta, who flubbed her name and went on to become a hot trending topic in the last two days since the event. Fallon poked fun in his monologue at Travolta’s mess-up, which you can also watch here below (includes a clip from the awards ceremony of Travolta introducing “Adele Dazeem”).
One things for sure – everyone now knows who Adele Dazeem is.
