FX has ordered not just one but two more seasons of their hit animated comedy Archer, which means fans of the show can look forward to at least season six and season seven before the next decision is made.
Each of the two seasons will consist of 13 episodes, and will bring the show into the year 2016. Archer is currently in the middle of its fifth season, the “Archer Vice” season.
Of the announcement, president of original programming for FX, Eric Schrier said:
“Archer is one of the best comedies on television and has played a significant role in the growth of the FX comedy brand. We’re grateful to Adam Reed, Matt Thompson and their team at Floyd County, and also our incredible voice cast, and are looking forward to supporting their work for at least two more seasons.”
Archer follows egotistical international spy Sterling Archer (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin) and the people he works with at ISIS (International Secret Intelligence Service), including his mother and boss Malory (Jessica Walters) and ex-lover and fellow spy Lana Kane (Aisha Tyler).

That last installment (guest starring Kenny Loggins as himself) was just downright hilarious, especially that last few seconds of the episode.
