In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Top Cow Productions has created an extremely limited edition cover of the popular comic Aphrodite IX #9. For those who don’t know, Aphrodite IX is a female android assassin with distinctive green hair and some truly uncanny abilities. Unfortunately, her handlers erase her memory after every mission…at least that’s how it used to work. Lately, she has been retaining her knowledge and has gone rogue. It’s an exceptionally entertaining storyline brought to us by Matt Hawkins and features some spectacular art from Stjepan Sejic.

Keeping with the green theme already in place, the special edition cover (Cover C) for Aphrodite IX #9, seen below, is chock full o’ shamrocks. Even the familiar green spot on Aphrodite IX’s cheek has morphed into a four-leaf clover. Clad only in a flowing green gossamer cloth, it seems likely that your imagination may run a bit wild with this sexy piece. One might say you could be after her lucky charms! I wouldn’t though, remember the lady is a killer. With this edition in your collection, your other comics will be green with envy!

But seriously, folks. How awesome is it to have a limited edition cover for St. Patrick’s Day?
