Last night’s episode of Game Of Thrones — Season 4, Episode #9, “The Watchers on the Wall” — was focused solely on the brothers of The Night’s Watch and their defense of The Wall and Castle Black against the invading Wildlings. No King’s Landing, no petty squabbles, no Arya and the Hound duo — it was all Jon Snow front and center in this penultimate episode of the fourth season of the HBO series.

HBO has released several behind-the-scenes videos, including an over 7-minute “inside look” at Episode 9 and director Neil Marshall’s handling of the battle of Castle Black. There’s also 2 short videos — “The Battle of Castle Black” and “The One,” about Jon Snow and Ygritte’s reunion — as well as a video interview with creator George R.R. Martin called “A Formidable Fortress” about the defending of Castle Black.
