suicide-silence

Hello my metal minions. Just a quick follow up to my article about the new Suicide Silence video from the other day.

Now, you can hear the entire album,You Can’t Stop Me streaming via their label Nuclear Blast‘s YouTube Channel. Take a listen to the album here below before it’s released next week.

I have only had time to listen through once, but here are my initial thoughts: At the risk of pissing off the fanboy/girls… Eddie Hermida may not have as much charisma as Mitch Lucker (R.I.P.), but I honestly believe he is a superior vocalist. And, in case anyone was worried about the band selling out by softening their full metal assault and taking advantage of their newfound media darling status, fear not… this album is HEAVY, start to finish! Early standout tracks for me are “Sacred Words” and “Control” (featuring George ‘Corpsegrinder’ Fisher from Cannibal Corpse).

Give it a listen if you’re a fan of this sort of metal and let me know what you think.

You Can’t Stop Me is out July 11th (EU) / 14th (UK) / 15th (NA) via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
