Robin Williams Happy Days Mork, Richie, Fonzie My Favorite Orkan

In tribute to actor Robin Williams, who died on Tuesday, The Hub Network will air the 1978 episode of Happy Days where his character Mork debuted.

“My Favorite Orkan,” where Williams first appeared as the alien Mork from Ork, will air on Hub two times in succession on Friday, August 15, 2014, first at 9pm ET (6pm PT) and then at 9:30pm ET (6:30pm PT).

In the episode, Mork the alien is introduced and ends up going up against the master of cool, Fonzie. “My Favorite Orkan” (the title of which was a nod to the 1960’s sitcom My Favorite Martian) led to Williams getting his own starring television role with the character in the ABC sitcom Mork and Mindy, which ran from 1978-1982.

Hub’s airing will include an alternative ending and an on-air tribute during the hour in honor of the Oscar award-winning actor.
