As we reported previously, the third record from Cavalera Conspiracy, titled Pandemonium, is due to be released on November 4, 2014.
Brothers Max and Igor Cavalera were the founders and heart and soul of Brazilian metal institution Sepultura.
While we wait to hear the full album, the Cavaleras have gifted us with a sneak peek in the form of the album’s first single, “Banzai Kamakazi.”
Listen to the track here below.
Singer and guitarist Max left Sepultura in a highly publicized and acrimonious split in 1997. He would go on to form the highly successful Soulfly. Relations between the brothers were icy at best as Igor remained on board as Sepultura’s drummer until 2007.
When Igor finally also jumped ship, the two were reunited in the form of Cavalera Conspiracy. They have since produced two albums that harken back to the brutal, pummeling assault that made them famous on the early Sepultura records. Max has been quoted as saying that Pandemonium will go even further in that direction.
Pandemonium will be available everywhere via Napalm Records on November 4th.
