Anaal Nathrakh is a two-man industrial, blackened, death metal band from Birmingham, England. Their name comes from Merlin’s Charm of Making in John Boorman’s 1981 film Excalibur.

Listen to the audio of Anaal Nathrakh’s new single “Idol” here below.

Despite being active since 1999, the band is still considered by many to be on the cutting edge of modern extreme metal. Desideratum, the band’s eighth studio album, will be available worldwide via Metal Blade Records on October 28, 2014. Here is a preview of the first single, “Idol.”
