A pair of Game of Thrones stars have joined the cast of the upcoming movie adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith‘s horror twist on a classic novel, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
Lena Headey (300, Dredd) and Charles Dance (Dracula Untold, Alien 3), who play the father-daughter duo of Cersei Lannister and Tywin Lannister on Thrones, have both signed on for currently unspecified roles in Zombies. It’s also been announced that Screen Gems has acquired the rights to U.S. distribution for the movie.
Headey and Dance join a cast that already includes Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcoate, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Suki Waterhouse, and the recently announced Matt Smith.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will begin shooting tomorrow, and will be directed by Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down, 17 Again). Allison Shearmur, Sean McKittrick, Natalie Portman, Annette Savitch, Marc Butan, Brian Oliver, and Tyler Thompson are producing the project, with Lauren Selig, Aleen Keshishian, Ted Hamm, and Sue Baden Powell executive producing.
