Continuing its quest to release every unavailable horror and sci-fi feature not currently on Blu-ray and DVD, Scream Factory has announced six new titles for early-to-mid 2015. The movies set to be released all come from the killer animal/insect/reptile/aquatic life sub-genre of horror and will include Frogs (starring a young, mustache-less Sam Elliott), the H.G. Wells adaptation Food of the Gods, Empire of the Ants (starring Joan Collins), the killer cobra flick Jaws of Satan, Reptilicus, and the Italian octopus yarn Tentacles (starring John Huston, Shelley Winters, and Henry Fonda). The six movies will be paired up on three double feature discs. You can expect release date and extra feature announcements in the months to come.

From the creative talent that brought us the clever home invasion horror You’re Next comes the genre-hopping action-thriller The Guest. Special features have yet to be announced.

Our own Adam Frazier recently called the indie horror feature Housebound “a refreshing entry in the haunted house subgenre” (read the rest of his review here). Extra features have yet to be announced.

Clive Barker‘s 1995 mystery-horror cult classic Lord of Illusions has been scheduled for release on Blu-ray on December 16, 2014 by Scream Factory. The release will split two different cuts of the film and a host of new and vintage bonus features over a pair of Blu-ray discs. In addition to the theatrical release version we’re also getting Barker’s preferred director’s cut in a new high-definition transfer. Barker will supply that cut with an audio commentary.
