Arriving in Bristol, the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) discover something very wrong: the TARDIS exterior is shrinking, and people in the area are disappearing. The mystery becomes potentially deadly, as the two are separated, with the Doctor left in the TARDIS, and Clara left outside to play the role of the Doctor instead…
During TARDISblend 80, we examine the fabulous dimensional concept delivered to Doctor Who in this episode by writer Jamie Mathieson; a tale that will be remembered as a highlight of Series 8.
All this and more on the latest TARDISblend!
Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from The BLENDOVER Podcast and The Heavy Metal Historian Podcast) and geek journalist Tom Cheredar of VentureBeat, TARDISblend is a podcast that takes a look at the ongoing adventures in the Doctor Who Universe – as Peter Capaldi makes his beginnings as the next Doctor!

Clara is now fully addicted to The Doctor and all that come with traveling with him, to the point of lying to both him and Danny and taking on The Doctor’s characteristics. Missy, somehow knew this and will use Clara and all of the other dead she is collecting to destroy The Doctor (not necessarily kill him). P.S. first time posting, you guys are fantastic!

Finally, we all agree! This episode was awesome. The CGI was really on point. The creatures at the end – the treatment they gave them was just fantastic. Real creepy stuff. And, I mean how can you not reference the ‘Thing’ version of The Doctor pulling the TARDIS off the train tracks – and handing Clara all the stuff from his tiny blue box. When she pulled that hammer out her bag, I lost it. Classic WHO comedy. Still unsure on the Missy front and what her end game is, but intrigued to see this play out. Another great discussion guys!
